The 2024 Treasure Hunt

After the resounding success of the 2023 Treasure Hunt, we have decided to continue running the event for 2024. 

The Hunting will begin as clocks spring forward to daylight saving on Sunday 31st March 2024  and the finish date will be as clocks fall back on Sunday 27th October 2024.

The Treasure Hunt will be open to all members of the Society to join in and have some fun, with beautiful rosettes to be won at conclusion of the scheme. Participation is completely FREE!

More information will be added shortly but all enquiries to be made to Sam Backshall at meritcards@appaloosa.org.uk who is co-ordinating  all the fun you will certainly be experiencing by joining in!

The Treasure Hunt has a BApS dedicated group on Facebook if you wish to join and see what 2023 brought.

This year there are 3 levels of award to aim for rather than two different lists, so everyone will be looking for the same items. There will be bronze, silver and gold awards to aim for. It doesn’t matter which items you collect it’s about the total you have.

Bronze – 12 - 17

Silver – 18 – 24

Gold – 25 and above 

In addition to this, WILDCARD items will be added at undetermined moments through the hunt. They will be very hard to collect and will have strict rules attached to them to claim. Your evidence will go in your album as for the other items.

They will be given on the Facebook group and the main Society group.
